The renovated terrace at Sentry Insurance's headquarters received a 2025 Design Award from the American Society of Landscape Artists (ASLA) Wisconsin chapter. The revitalized terrace was part of a larger refresh of the building lobby, originally designed by Flad in the 1970s. The new design aligns with the firm's updated image and brand, incorporating unique features and amenities to enhance both the customer and employee experience.
Connected to the double-height lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows, the terrace incorporates a variety of colors, textures, and seating options to create a modern design that seamlessly blends with the existing structure. Strategic placement of seating, shade structures, and planters provide relaxing outdoor meeting spaces while maintaining privacy for adjacent offices.
