Flad Principal Chuck Mummert will speak at Auburn University's CEU Day, an internal event for AU Facilities employees. In the presentation, entitled "The New Interdisciplinary Workspace: Proactively Planning for Change," Chuck will share insights on how innovations and shifts in the interdisciplinary research environment can eliminate silos and create the outside-the-box thinking required to solve grand challenges.

He'll share examples of unique ways for academic institutions to engage corporate partners as well as the concepts being developed for new research governance models, allowing facilities to support unknown future scientists and research projects.
