The John Deere Manufacturing Facility in Kernersville, North Carolina, earned an Excellence in Construction Merit Award in the industrial buildings category from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Carolinas. In partnership with Evans General Contractors, Flad designed the manufacturing campus, which offers 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 15,000 square feet of adjacent finished office space.
The facility features automated, high-bay manufacturing halls; dense warehouse systems; and a signature office, training, and quality control center. Designed for seamless expansion, it maximizes site coverage while managing complex traffic circulation for trucks, employees, and visitors. Flexible systems and sustainability measures enable John Deere to expand production capacity and add to its growing product lines.
