Plant Science and Animal Health
Flad Architects brings a depth of experience to projects with high functional and technical demands – more than 30 million square feet of places for discovery and learning for more than 85 campuses across the country. Our relevant experience includes significant contributions to agricultural science and veterinary medicine through plant growth facilities, veterinary teaching and treatment facilities, classrooms, and research laboratories. This page is an introduction, highlighting recent experience of importance to the Plant Science and Animal Health program: hands-on learning, sustainable design and planning to engage curriculum, the ability of a single facility to anchor and animate a large site, master planning for phased development, and the ability to engage donors and industry partners in realizing academic goals. Our ability to achieve meaningful architecture with modest budgets and to engage in the integrated design process underscores these efforts and demonstrates our commitment to collaborative design-build delivery.
