I²SL 2020 Annual Conference

Wednesday, October 07, 2020
5:00-6:30pm EDT (Session G1: Graphics / Tools)

As scientists continue to advance their research and exploratory endeavors, we have learned the world is not always as big as it seems. The more we understand, the more intrinsic and detailed our research subject matter becomes. As the scope becomes smaller, so too, must the tools required to pilot this critical research. Enter the laser.

Creating a robust environment for laser deployment must carefully address a variety of space planning and MEP design considerations, including laser safety and ergonomics, laser performance and advancements in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), building systems and conditions, and ancillary equipment.

Join Flad science and technology expert Matthew Garrett in collaboration with Affiliated Engineers test facility leader David Sereno as they discuss how to maximize safety, performance, and sustainability in laser laboratory environments in I²SL's upcoming 2020 Virtual Annual Conference. The conference agenda and session details are available at the links below, and information regarding registration rates can be found here.
