I like to think of the lab workplace, building, or research campus as a cultural organism whose purpose is to galvanize the intellectual activities within. The facilities that we build for the brightest scientific minds of today must evolve as robust, adaptable, and inspirational canvases for tomorrow.

Michele Sainte-Starbuck

Science Planner

With a deep background in fine art, and graphic and spatial design, Michele appreciates the art of science. She believes that uninhibited scientific exploration, discovery, and adventure requires environments that encourage the loftiest of research aspirations. At the same time, these environments must also function as efficient, technological, and sustainable mechanisms to advance theory into applicability. As an advocate for multidisciplinary design collaboration, Michele's approach is to orchestrate laboratory users, clients, consultant teams, and contractors toward a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.
