I love working with bright people to solve problems. Whatever the project type, we never run into exactly the same challenge. It's a unique answer every time. This field forces you to be creative in responding to questions whether technical or philosophical. You have to solve problems effectively, with the vision of the client in mind.

Mark loves solving puzzles. For more than three decades, he has specialized in one of the most challenging aspects of architectural planning and design – laboratory and animal facilities. Assembling these buildings, housing some of the most important medical research being conducted today, is a puzzle of staggering proportions. Adhering to strict security, safety, and scientific protocols while maximizing efficiency, he is an expert in managing diverse animal populations and addressing the unique challenges that each species presents.
