Clients and architects each have the ability to inspire the other; the client, through the mission and dedication of people working in the life sciences; the architect, by understanding the research and spatial needs of the client, team collaboration, and hard work. The result is great design which in turn inspires the building's occupants. We all have a role in each other's success.

John Martell LEED

Science Planner

Since working on his first laboratory project in 1988, John has developed extensive experience in all phases of projects from the early big picture planning stages through fine-tuning the details of laboratory design. He particularly enjoys the challenge of schedule-driven laboratory projects that require the ability to listen carefully and respond quickly. He believes that it is vital that the client and user requirements are meticulously understood, designed, documented, coordinated, and executed.
