Within the context of our profession, the term 'design' can have a different meaning for each of us. Regardless of definition, our shared objective is to follow a process that affords the best possible outcome for our clients. In my experience, the best project outcomes always result from strong team attitude, trusting relationships and open communication among the entire project team, including design disciplines, owners, user groups and construction personnel.

John Bauch PE, LEED AP

Director of Structural Engineering

John's interest in building design began as a young boy while watching and eventually helping his father build their family home. His broad professional experience includes structural design of a variety of building types, including healthcare, laboratories, academic, offices, and industrial facilities. It informs John's ability to recognize and discuss the long-term project implications of early team decisions on issues such as building materials and systems, building massing, serviceability and performance requirements, constructability, early construction packages, and site selection. His valuable contributions promote selection and design of efficient and cost-effective structural systems.
