I believe that the practice of landscape architecture is a blend of art and science. The goal is to create inspiring and compelling spaces that are a daily source of enrichment and establish a sense of identity for people. At its best, a design outcome can be culturally transformational.

Craig Schiestl ASLA, LEED AP

Senior Landscape Architect

As a landscape architect with extensive experience in environmental assessment, site selection, campus master planning, and site planning and design, Craig relishes the opportunity to be a proactive rather than reactive participant in the design process. His early involvement takes full advantage of development opportunities and can result in solutions fostering a symbiotic relationship between natural and built environments. An advocate for a highly collaborative, interactive, and interdisciplinary design approach, Craig has a working knowledge of architecture and engineering which, combined with his specialized knowledge of landscape architecture, enables him to communicate effectively with peer design professionals and clients.
