Healthcare projects are a bit unique in that you have many stakeholder groups to consider — the patients and public, the clinicians, healthcare leadership, and the staff who make the facility run. The goal of healthcare design should be to create a building that is both beautiful and fully supports each of those groups.

Alana Schrader NCIDQ, IIDA, LEED AP

Associate Principal, Interior Designer

Alana has more than 25 years of national experience in interior design and academic and medical planning, with the past decade focused on the healthcare sector. While her career started with a focus on the aesthetic aspects of design, her keen interest in the psychological and emotional impacts of space on its occupants made her particularly suited to her work in healthcare planning. Alana excels at translating the design and planning wants and needs of the client into a beautiful, constructible, and affordable built environment.
