Torrey Heights Featured on Cover of BD+C
The Torrey Heights life science campus is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Building Design+Construction, the annual Giants Report issue. Flad designed the recently completed development from Breakthrough Properties.
The cover image highlights Torrey Heights' signature façade, composed of stepped, unified glass fiber reinforced concrete panels. The tessellated panels draw inspiration from Torrey Pines' geological formations. Torrey Heights offers 520,000 square feet of leasable research labs and offices. It also features amenity spaces and a publicly accessible, landscaped plaza in San Diego's emerging tech hub.
