Offering comprehensive care to a growing community, Lee Health’s new 53-acre Fort Myers campus will house a 240-bed, full-service hospital, as well as ancillary and social services and a medical office building, which will be home to the Musculoskeletal Institute and eight, state-of-the-art operating rooms.

At the upcoming Health Environments Summit, leaders from Lee Health, Flad, and Skanska will lead a presentation exploring the planning and design of the campus master plan. They will detail important considerations from early visioning and project scope to plans for future phases, including zoning and permitting as well as infrastructure needs for future growth, flexibility, and resilience in a region that is at high risk for hurricanes and flooding. Learn about the decisions that lead to an adaptable and resilient healthcare facility that will meet the needs of the community for years to come.

Also during the event, Flad will join Lee Health to lead an exclusive tour of the site, which is currently under construction. Lee Health Fort Myers Hospital is scheduled to open in 2028.
