Can effective urban design turn a global event into a permanent destination? Flad’s Philip Ra and Ali Nasiri will comprise one of two teams competing to answer that question at the Autodesk University Design Slam in Las Vegas. In this live design competition, teams will reimagine the corridor between Allegiant Stadium and the Las Vegas Strip into a climate-smart, hospitality-driven district designed for the FIFA World Cup™ and beyond.

Using Autodesk Forma, Forma Building Design, sustainability analysis, and AI visualization, competitors will create bold concepts that improve mobility, enhance fan experience, and deliver lasting value for residents and visitors. The event will be live streamed so viewers can witness each decision and vote to crown the Design Slam champion.
