Ascendium Education Group's office headquarters building has earned a Concrete Design Award from the Wisconsin Ready Mixed Concrete Association (WRMCA). Flad provided master planning, design, and structural engineering for the 63,000-square-foot facility.
Ascendium is a nonprofit organization dedicated to elevating education and training opportunity for America's most vulnerable cohorts. The three-story building features private and open offices, conference rooms, collaboration spaces, onsite fitness facilities, and a café with a movable wall that opens space for large-scale training and seminars. Located a few miles from downtown Madison, the transparent exterior walls soar over the landscape and provide abundant daylight and views.
