Stevens Williams approaches innovative building design thinking about more than wood, metal, concrete, and glass. He also thinks about the sun, rainwater, trees, grasses, and prairies. He thinks about how the building will fit into the landscape, conserve energy and resources, and operate in harmony with the natural world around it. While expressing the unique needs and aspirations of academic, federal, scientific, and corporate clients, he applies ambitious environmental design concepts, integrating technology in sustainable settings.

Impact - Every academic project can be an inspiring environment for learning. I find great inspiration guiding clients through sustainable approaches to indoor quality, day lighting, acoustics, views, etc. There are so many ways to enhance both the students' experiences and the surroundings. The goal for every academic project is to have an extradinary impact on the individual and a minimal impact on the environment.
